Gordon “Square Deal” Mullins ’59, age 74, of Richlands, VA passed away on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at his home following a lengthy illness. He was born in Richlands and was the son of the late Doug and Dismal Fields Mullins of Tazewell County, and was raised by his late grandparents , Mr. and Mrs. Bill Fields Sr.

“Square Deal” was a class of 1958 graduate of Greenbrier Military School. He served in the U.S. Army from 1959 -1961. He was injured at the Berlin Wall and was discharged early from service. He was retired a contractor and part time comedian. He attended Gethsemane Baptist Church and was a lifelong resident of the area. He will be missed by all those who knew and loved him.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ginger Lowry Mullins; daughter, Sherry Kahib of Tazewell; grandchildren, J.D. Mullins, Jimmy Kahib, Jasmine Kahib; stepmother, Edith Mullins of Ft. Pierce, Fl; a host of friends.

There were no services and burial was private.
